================================================================ Title : Presidential Run Filename : prezrun.bsp Author : Kevin "Fragmaster" Bowen Address : fragmaster@classicgaming.com Description : A Hunted-style map for Team Fortress Classic. Story: After "busting a George Michael" somewhere deep within the Black Mesa complex, presidential candidate Mike Hobychoocoo decides that he needs to get the hell out of there. Now how's that for a story? As for why the escape car doesn't have a steering wheel, ummm... well, it's controlled by physic forces you wouldn't possibly understand. That's it. This map was originally made for PC Gamer's Hunted contest. Special Thanks to : Reid "Brushboy" Kimball taught me WC and he works on the Gunman TC (http://gunman.telefragged.com). He digs chocolate milk. Thanks to the GameSpy guys for playtesting this, and esp. crt and Moltar for their suggestions. And Valve, who kicks mondo ass. Hunted is a genius design, dammit. Webpage : http://www.planethalflife.com (Aww ya) http://www.classicgaming.com ================================================================ Construction Base : New level from scratch Editor used : Worldcraft v2.0 and v2.1 Known Bugs : It's possible to get caught up in the corners of the sewers. Clip brushes didn't fix two of the places, but the exact same thing worked in other places down there. Whatever, it's no biggie. The textures in the vents aren't aligned in places. Blame high union wages. You can't use the vents to pull off the same trick that worked in hunted though... *cough* Build Time : Nearly 2 weeks, on and off. ================================================================ Copyright and Permissions Keep this file intact, don't stick it on your shovelware, and don't sell it to support your drug habit. Thanks a bunch! You also have my permission to use the car for the night, but don't try any funny stuff because her father is a former boxer. ================================================================ Other HL DM maps I've smacked together: After Hours, Gore Chasm, Gorechasmic, Xen Ribcage Visit Planet Half-Life (http://www.planethalflife.com), dammit! PLEASE let me know what you think of this map. Any feedback would be keen-nifty. Have fun! - Fragmaster fragmaster@classicgaming.com May 12, 1999
