Description : Spaceball grew out of a practice level I was building to see if
it was possible
to build jumping levels in HL like the space levels in Quake 3. However, I quickly discovered
how much fun jumping around is. So
I decided to add a few more platforms and turn it into
an entire level. A secondary goal
that the level fulfilled was to create a fun, playable level in
as short a time as possible. All
the work on creating the level only took about 3 hours, but it
took a little longer in actual time because of compiling to get things tweaked
right.
Originally the level was a team DM level, but I decided to make it murderball
style
since the name worked out better and the high scores in-game help make up for
the occasional suicide when people miss a platform.
Development machine : Intel P3 733, 256 RAM,
GeForce 2, Voodoo 2, tested in 3d and 2d rendering.

* Play Information *
Level name : spaceball.bsp
Level name : Spaceball
Editor(s) used : Worldcraft 3.1
Known Bugs : The level is slightly larger then TFC supports by
default. However, if the pop-in of
various platforms is bugging you (and nothing really essential tends to fade),
you can reset
the viewable distance in your config file.

Authors may NOT use this level as a base to build additional
levels.
